Last Saturday, we got up the gumption to go for a little morning hike. It was really beautiful out, and we thought that with an entire 3 day weekend, the least we could do is a little hike.
Mike carried Layla in the Bjorn, and I tried to control Opie, who has turned into an even crazier dog when on the leash... Poor puppy hasn't gotten his normal levels of attention since Layla's been born. I am very proud of us that we still manage to get him and ourselves out of the house at least twice a day for 30-45 min walks.

We were planning to also go to a baseball game, but as we've realized over the last 10 weeks, you've gotta be flexible and not put too much pressure on yourself or on your plans... in other words, when it actually came time to leave for the game, we were too exhausted to make it happen. Some day we will figure this out, but for now, we're just trying to enjoy our time together when we've got it.
